Sam Cannata
Mr. Cannata is a Managing Member and In-House Legal Counsel of Snider-Cannata, LLC, a Cleveland-based real estate development and investment firm. He was born and raised in the Cleveland area.
Mr. Cannata has background in commercial and residential real estate development, construction and property management. After living and working in Europe, Mr. Cannata returned to Cleveland in 1992, and began his career in real estate development. Sam worked closely with David Snider for several years before the two founded Snider-Cannata in 1997.
Mr. Cannata graduated from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2002 and is a practicing attorney in the State of Ohio. Mr. Cannata earned a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1989. In 1987, Mr. Cannata graduated from the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado, and served as an officer in the United States Air Force until 1992.
Mr. Cannata is involved in the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and an active member of the American Bar Association, Ohio. He is married and has three children.
David B. Snider
David B. Snider is a Managing Member in Snider-Cannata, LLC, a Cleveland-based real estate development and investment firm. He was born and raised in the Cleveland area. After graduating from St. Ignatius High School in 1982, Mr. Snider attended Arizona State University and obtained his degree in finance with a minor in real estate. After graduation, Mr. Snider lived in San Francisco where he was an associate at First Union Investment Corporation selling investment real estate that included apartment buildings, mobile home parks, and retail shopping centers.
Mr. Snider moved back to Cleveland in 1990 and started working as a partner in his familys real estate development business. David, along with his father, William Snider, ran The Snider Company from 1990 to 1997. In 1997, David Snider and Sam Cannata formed Snider-Cannata Interests. It was at that time that William Snider retired from his day-to-day role as a principal in The Snider Company.
In addition to his core business with Snider-Cannata Interests, Mr. Snider is also an active investor in both public and private corporations throughout the United States.
Mr. Snider sits on the board of IMC Magnetics, a privately owned $15MM manufacturing company in Phoenix, Arizona. David is actively involved in the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He is married and has four children.
