HISTORY

Snider-Cannata traces its roots back through three generations of homebuilding by the Snider Family in Northeast Ohio. While continuing the family business, William Snider began to diversify into commercial real estate in the 1960’s through developing neighborhood retail centers and apartment communities in the growing suburbs surrounding Cleveland, Ohio. William’s son, David, returned to Cleveland in the late 1980’s to work alongside his father.

In the 1990’s, David Snider and Sam Cannata founded Snider-Cannata. They have pursued both commercial and high-end residential real estate assets and the firm has built up a varied knowledge base and experience level with every new investment.

Today, Snider-Cannata retains a personal approach to real estate development, even as it pursues larger and more complex investments in multiple markets.
